WHO IS MOLLY PITCHER?

It's the late 18th century. A brand new country is trying to exist. Men line up to do battle, firing muskets and cannons at each other.

In the throes of battle, as tables turn, what's a woman to do?

Molly Pitcher was said to be supplying water to the exhausted soldiers when the battle took its toll on her husband. She jumped into action, taking his place at the cannon.

Maybe she was real. Maybe she was just inspired fiction. Or maybe she's just a name for all the woman who stood behind or alongside the men of the Revolutionary War in a time when women could not enlist.

Whoever she was, Molly Pitchers carved their respected places in history.
